Vail Rock Climbing

Vail rock climbing adventures with Apex Mountain School offer something for everyone, from beginners to advanced climbers. These routes range in height from 35 to 90 feet, and approaches are usually within 5 minutes from the car. While rock climbing is certainly a physically and mentally challenging activity, our clients are often amazed by what they are able to accomplish, achieving their dreams while surrounded by classic views of the Vail Valley. Apex guides prioritize client care and will work with you to refine and accomplish your specific goals, whatever they may be.

All age, ability, and fitness levels are welcome. No experience is necessary. Apex provides all technical rock climbing gear (helmet, harness, climbing shoes, belay device, etc.) for your outing.

Groups that book for the same day are not combined – all activities are private, and with the largest permit access to Vail rock climbing areas, we have an extraordinary ability to ensure that our outings occur as scheduled and are un-interrupted.

“Outstanding world class climbing with highly qualified guides. We couldn’t have asked for more.”        – David Brooks

As the largest full service Mountaineering school and guide service in Vail, Colorado, we also facilitate leadership and team-building activities for groups of up to 200 people. Visit our group climbing and team building pages to learn more.
